Captain Dave Grant – Master Captain
With over 35 years of sailing experience, Captain Dave is a USCG-licensed 100 Ton Master. He has captained luxury catamarans in Greece and the Caribbean, sleek racers along California’s Pacific coast, and enjoys mentoring beginners in sailing. Now based in Charleston, Captain Dave brings history, adventure, and excitement to every cruise. (843-718-5970)
Captain Kai Lorusso – Captain
A Charleston local, Captain Kai grew up on the water before spending six years in Nicaragua as a surf guide. His career includes whale-watching tours in Alaska and crewing on private yachts around the world. Now a licensed 100 Ton Captain, he’s passionate about sharing the beauty and knowledge of his hometown waters.
Magenta Lorusso – Deckhand & Steward
Born and raised in Charleston, Magenta began her career as a deckhand before working as a chef, steward, and crew member aboard superyachts throughout Miami, the Bahamas, Mexico, and the East Coast. A skilled photographer, she loves capturing the unforgettable memories of our guests. She is currently working toward her OUPV Captain’s License.
Hailey Goodson – Marine Biologist & Crew Member
Hailey recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston. A certified scuba diver with a passion for marine life, she brings both knowledge and customer service excellence to every Dockside Charters experience.
